EXCELLENT brisket, fries and homemade ice cream. Also nice out door deck. Owner came out and chatted with us. Delightful treat of a place.

After a day at the Illinois Railroad Museum, my friends and I were looking for a place to eat, and and quick Google search for restaurants brought up Fire & Ice.We're BBQ nerds, so we headed over and took a seat in the back. Hanna was quick to greet us and take our drink order. We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the menu selection. The portions were good sized and everything was excellent.I'll be making a 90 minute drive soon with friends to dine here again!
Excellent BBQ and ice cream. My mom and I had really great service and very much enjoyed our meal! We can't wait to go back. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was AMAZING.
Worst experience ever. When a cook comes and shakes a customers hand i think to myself there is a sanitation issue. The chef is supposed to be cooking not touching strangers hands. Our order was mistaken from the beginning. The girl taking our order seemed new and there were no managers to take control or fix things. We got two burger meals, two small side salads and two small sides. This somehow came out to $45+.... i knew something was wrong. She charged us for large salads and im sure over charged us for something else because all ofThat food should not cost $38 still. After the entire transaction mess up. We get home to find out they forgot to give us our sides; the girl delivered it which was nice. We had one burger medium rare and the other burger medium. The medium burger was MORE RARE THAN THE MEDIUMRARE!!! The potato salad, potatoes were CRUNCHY RAW and not cut up enough; the potatoes were damn near halves. The orzo salad had so much pepper it tasted nasty! Absolutely disappointed in the slacking quality of service. You arent fooling anyone by saving money or having someone new make special salads.
