We were passing through Marengo today at lunchtime so we decided to stop in. So glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was great! I had the chicken Caesar wrap and my husband had the Yummy burger and cheese fries. We have enough left over for dinner! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
A great place to stop in on your way to and from. Wood burning oven means great pizza, roasted chicken and ribs. The staff are nice and they serve alcohol. The name is a little misleading - it's way more than a cafe. Stop in - you won't be dissappointed.
Living in Marengo, this little restaurant is our go-to favorite. Whether we are looking for a date night, entertaining out of town family, or simple don't feel like cooking that night, we count on Cafe 20 to get a great meal. The menu provides a nice balance between steaks, seafood, pasta and pizza. Their nightly specials are always tasty.
Driving cross country and stopped here for a late lunch. My dad had the chef salad and I had a turkey sandwich with waffle fries. The portions were big and the food was fresh and delicious, and our server (I think Paige was her name) was friendly and kind. This was sooo much better than all the fast food options on the road.
If you want huge plates of food, this is the place to go. I don't think one person at our table could finish their food, but it tastes good and there's a lot of it. I would recommend everything but the fish, they put a very crispy layer on the fish it was very hard to eat but everything else tasted good.
